Phanta the Goat
Phanta is another one of Dalscone’s Pygmy goats that arrived in the Spring of 2021! She has long grey and white hair with a particularly long grey beard and a big white patch on her head in between her horns. Phanta is old and grumpy a lot of the time, but is best friends with Vera (bless her)! She is gentle towards people but tends to have the odd temper tantrum when she doesn’t have her own space! Phanta has also proved to be a remarkable mother and has proven to carry out some miraculous feats of mother hood throughout our time with us!
Profile
Phanta got her name because she has had phantom pregnancies where her bag is full, but she has no baby. She has strong maternal instincts and is well known on our Facebook page for being the goat who licked baby Miracle and got her up on her feet, when she was abandoned at birth. Miracle would not be alive without Phanta’s motherly instincts! In Spring 2022, Phanta finally became the great mum we know she can be! She’s one of Farmer Ben’s favourite animals on the farm!
