Dalscone Farm has a large variety of exotic and farm animals.

In our Exotic Animal House you will be able to meet a wide range of unique animals. You can also take part in our unique Animal Experiences where you can meet and learn about some of our most fascinating animals.

Our exotic animals include: Turtles, Skunks, Armadillos, Porcupines, Monkeys, Squirrels, Axolotls, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Birds, Insects, Reptiles and many more!

The Animal Barn

The Animal Barn is where you can visit our friendly farm animals, including: Sheep – including The World Famous Fiona!, Goats, Cows, Donkeys, Ponies, Alpacas, Llamas, Pigs and Guinea Fowl.

Our Meerkats, Tortoises and Prairie Dogs are enjoying newly developed accommodation with better viewing platforms for visitors.

Animal Experiences

Book one of our amazing Animal Experiences where you can meet and learn about some of our most fascinating animals.

Armadillo Handling Experience

Come and meet Rock and Roll, our Nine Banded Armadillos in this hands-on experience. You will be able to feed them a snack, give them a scratch and learn all about these unique creatures.

Snake Handling Experience

Get up close and personal with some of the world’s most misunderstood creatures in this interactive snake handling experience. You’ll have the opportunity to handle a variety of snakes and discover their personalities. Throughout the hands-on encounter, you will learn about their natural habitats, how they behave in the wild, and the specialist care they receive in captivity, with plenty of time to ask questions.

Reptile Handling Experience

Discover the fascinating world of reptiles in this interactive handling experience featuring a range of snakes and lizards. You’ll have the opportunity to safely handle selected species while learning about their unique behaviours, natural habitats, and the specialist care they require. This session offers a closer look at these remarkable animals and the adaptations that make them so unique.

Marmoset Feeding Experience

Come and feed our small troop of marmosets their favourite fruits, veggies, gum and insects! All while learning about these curious little creatures.

Lizard Feeding Experience

Come join us in our reptile room for a close-up encounter with a variety of incredible lizards. You’ll learn about the diverse species in our care, including their diets, natural habitats and husbandry while getting the chance to feed them some of their favourite foods. This experience is an opportunity to observe the individual personalities and feeding behaviours of some of our resident reptiles, and to ask any questions you may have about these fascinating creatures.
